The problem: friction from working across fragmented tools — an AI chat in one tab, Google Docs in another — prompting the idea of one combined assistant. The solution was an off-the-shelf product. The outcome: never operationalised — the idea was good, but the product "was really not at the level we needed." What lasted was cultural: the two editorial staff who built it came away understanding the value of good prompting and how changing a prompt changes results, so editorial now has better conversations with the product side — "that cultural change was really useful for us."
